• Face — nose & contour: facial plastic surgeon (ABFPRS) or ABPS-certified plastic surgeon, for rhinoplasty, buccal fat, lip lift, otoplasty, neck lift.
• Breast & body: ABPS board-certified plastic surgeon, for augmentation/lift/reduction, implants, BBL, mommy makeover, arm/thigh lift, fat transfer.
• Intimate surgery: gynecologist/urogynecologist or an experienced plastic surgeon, for labiaplasty within an ACOG-informed framework.
• Men's health: plastic surgeon with endocrinology input where relevant, for gynecomastia.

Every seat requires: board certification in the relevant specialty, active clinical practice in that procedure area, no financial interest in BestPlasticSurgeryClinic.us or any clinic/product/service mentioned on the site, and verifiable credentials through the relevant certifying body.

How the Review Process Works

1. Drafting — the editorial team drafts content based on peer-reviewed literature and institutional sources, following the source whitelist documented on our editorial standards page.
2. Internal edit — the draft is edited for clarity, accuracy of claims, correct citation, and appropriate medical caveats.
3. Medical review — a board member reviews the draft for clinical accuracy, appropriate representation of evidence, identification of any claims that overstate the literature, and correct characterisation of risks and limitations.
4. Revision — any corrections, clarifications, or additional caveats raised by the reviewer are implemented.
5. Publication — the page is published with the "Medically reviewed" label and the review date.
